python-prowlpy software package provides Python support for Apple Push Notifications via Prowl, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-prowlpy
python-prowlpy is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-prowlpy package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-prowlpy *
You will get with python-prowlpy package name, version, architecture and description in a table
